My Thoughts:
Starting with the packaging, it comes in the black plastic box having the plastic transparent lid which loses its shine after some time cause I'd some previous ones which lost the shine of their transparent lid and looks ugly. It also comes with the sponge applicator. This palette is perfect for the beginners cause they have provided the guide lines at the back which tells which shade to apply on the lid and the on the crease which is very helpful and making the eye shadow application easy for the beginners. The sponge applicator is perfect for the beginners and this is also good when you're travelling and wanted to apply some make up. If you know the correct use of brushes then I recommend to use your own brushes. As I know the correct usage of make up brushes and I think that this applicator is useless. Nowadays weather here is so hot so due to this harsh weather that sponge applicator often gets damaged. Moving towards the color pigmentation, the color pigmentation is very impressing. The color which I got is shocking seas which is more inspired from the colors of the sea. The light blueish in the palette which is on the left side in the above image is matte while the other one which is on the right side in the above image is semi matte that is it contains some slight micro shimmer in it which is only visible when you look close to that. They are long lasting, you have to apply some primer or eye shadow base before applying it as both eye shadows in it are matte so they require some primer to stay longer on your beautiful eyes. This palette is perfect to attain the summer eye make up trend 2013 which is more towards blues. Both colors are not striking. They are very soft and decent colors and you can make the a very cool look by using this. Aaah! I can already feel the cooling effect while wearing this on my eyelids in this intense heat. I'm loving them. Overall, this product is superb except the transparent plastic lid and sponge applicator which disappointed me a little but its good for the price. I concluded that all drug store make up has the same packaging and applicator problem but high ended make up has no such problems.
